首宗流入社區的新冠變種病毒個案的印度籍男患者以及他的女友人，涉嫌無全面如實報告行蹤，兩人分別被控向授權人員提供虛假資料及未有向授權人員提供資料罪。九龍城裁判法院早上再處理案件時，控方指警方已經完成調查，獲准將案押後至下月15日上午再訊，等待索取法律意見，期間兩人繼續獲准保釋。 30歲印度籍男工程師被控於本年4月16日，在香港明知而向獲授權人員提供任何在要項上屬虛假的資料，亦即4月10至11日期間，只到訪尖沙咀和佐敦，並無參與任何聚會。至於31歲菲律賓籍女護士被控今年4月17日，在香港未有向獲授權人員，提供所知道的資料，而該資料攸關識別和追蹤可能已蒙受染上疾病的人。
