想了多年的單車環島，決定明天出發。謝謝親友贊助的馬鞍袋、車燈、遮陽帽以及袖套。雖然今天整裝時發現車燈不亮，馬鞍袋的拉鏈也壞了，但nothing can stop me! 從基隆到桃園的路線選擇多，但能享受無敵海景的只有一條。七點從家裡出發，很快地就來到了外木山情人湖濱海大道，一開始挺順利的，零星的車輛、和煦的陽光，明媚的風光。 過了石門後，肚子愈來愈餓，雙腿愈來愈重，坡度愈來愈陡，溫度愈來愈高，早上沒吃早餐，現在的戰鬥力好低，本來想撐到淡水市區才吃的，但中午十二點還在三芝的我如果再不進食補充能量，淡水就會是今天的終點了，不行，我的目標是大園。看到一間有賣中餐的檳榔攤，馬上停車衝進去點餐，老闆娘服務周到，跟她說要加辣，她就捧著辣椒醬過來
