新加坡綜合度假村濱海灣金沙日前已對近7,500 名員工進行大規模新冠病毒核酸檢測。該國於近期爆發的新冠疫情，而度假村更有兩名賭場荷官新冠檢測呈陽性。

濱海灣金沙在網站上公佈稱，其已經對該物業內工作的員工和承包人安排新冠肺炎（Covid-19）檢測。

在5月21日至26日期間，共有7,450 名員工和800 名承包人接受了抗原快速檢測（ART），所有檢測結果均爲陰性。我們為所有在濱海灣金沙工作的員工制定並實施聚合酶鏈鎖反應（PCR）檢測計劃，加上此次抗原快速檢測，我們的預防措施得到進一步加强。按照職位性質和風險程度，員工每隔 14 或 28 日接受一次例行檢測。

濱海灣金沙表示：「我們在各方面持續保持警惕，與當局保持緊密合作，隨時快速應對態勢。我們已進一步加强防護措施和安全清潔力度，為賓客、員工和社區營造安心環境。」

該綜合度假村在兩名娛樂城員工確診新冠肺炎（Covid-19）后，臨時關閉娛樂城兩日進行深度清潔，並於5月19日重新開放賭場營運。

濱海灣金沙以有限的運力營運至少至2021年6月13日，包括每張賭桌限兩個人。

新加坡週日錄得19例新增新冠確診病例，在新一輪的疫情中，每7日平均錄得確診人數為29例。
